First of all we would like to thank you for choosing us as your committee members and placing this important responsibility in our hands. The results of the General Meeting on the 27th of October are attached to this email in which 6 new students successfully joined the ISA. We take this opportunity to welcome these new members to the anjoman.

 

As we all know there have been some issues in the past few years that have stopped the Anjoman from fulfilling its most basic responsibilites, which are organising iranian/islamic cultural events, arranging get togethers and helping members with any problems.

 

Hence we have decided to give the Anjoman a fresh start and have outlined the following objectives for our period as your representatives:

 

1- Taking responsibility for national/islamic events at the MII.

2- Organising our own programs with invited lecturers and wanted speakers at the MII and/or Manchester University.

3- Posting (or personally giving if there isnt enough time) special packs to members on various occasions throughout the year. The first such pack will be given to members at this Saturdays program for the milad of Imam Reza (AS), so make sure you attend.

4- Making the mailing list an active part of our programs whereby members can forward interesting news, websites, webpages... to fellow ISA members.

5- Creating and maintaining the Manchester ISA website which will include archives of the emails sent to the mailing list, a list of past/future events and a members only section where ISA members can view the anjoman statistics... Inshallah the website will be running within the next 1-2 weeks.

6- Organising regular get togethers so members can meet in a friendly environment and systematically communicate information regarding news/events/advice...
